God of Jesus Allowing hell?

I think from various texts in the Bible that there is to come for some of us a place of torment for eternity or at least for a long time.
Why mention it if it is not true?
If it has to be mentioned then it has to be believed as a possibility or else mentioning it would be almost pointless except to the purely abstract philosophical kind of reasoning listeners.
Of whom not a large amount of people are ever likely to ever be.
God is looking for performance from His living charges, and at least needs to stimulate them with the possibility of there maybe yet to come a tormenting, hot and lacking of water place we call Hell.
Traditionally Evil has smelled of Sulphur and now recently there have been found large blind worms, that live in very hot places and living on smaller creatures that in turn feed on Bacteria that feed on Sulphur.
Nature in the exploration of Scientists is revealing more and more examples of what at one time could only be found in the Bible.
The question remains then how well can we manage to keep the Ten Commandments and serve the much implied in the Bible from end to end the pre chosen Human leader.
He who is known as Jesus the King of the Jews was chosen by the knowing of much the most Good God, before all other Humans from Adam and Eve had a chance to ponder on anything at all.
We can serve Him by growing a feeding back relationship with Him.
Whilst we are not supposed to Tempt Him by allowing danger to any one, we can play games with scores with Him.
We can learn about the drawing of lots at the very least to ask Him things.
